Serenadly

Privacy Policy

Effective: October 14, 2026

Serenadly is an AI song maker made by Kickpop Studio (Furkan Çetin). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and how you can delete it.

  • We collect only what we need to make your songs, run your account and process purchases.
  • We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
  • What you type and upload is sent to Google's AI models to make your song.
  • You can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Kickpop Studio (Furkan Çetin). For any privacy question or request, write to info@kickpop.app.

Your account

  • An anonymous account ID. The first time you open Serenadly, we create an anonymous account with Firebase Authentication so your songs and credits can be saved. It isn't linked to your name or email.
  • Sign in with Apple (optional). If you sign in with Apple, Apple gives us a user identifier, an email address (a private relay address if you choose "Hide My Email") and, the first time only, your name. We use them to keep your songs and credits when you reinstall or change phones.
  • A one-time device marker. To give the free starter credits once per iPhone, the app stores a small marker in your iPhone's keychain saying that this device has had a Serenadly account. It contains no personal information, stays on your device, isn't synced and remains after you delete the app or your account. Your profile records only whether it was created on such a device.

What you create

When you make a song, we store what you asked for and what was made:

  • Your request: your description, song title, lyrics you write, style choices (genre, mood, vocals, language, instrumental) and your app language.
  • Song for Someone: the recipient's first name, how to pronounce it, your relationship (for example "mom" or "friend"), the occasion and the details you add.
  • Photos you choose for Photo to Song, resized on your device to at most 1600 pixels.
  • The result: the generated audio (MP3), lyrics and their timing, title, length and status.
  • AI writing help: the topic or prompt, title, style, language and (for gift songs) the recipient's first name you send to AI Lyrics, Write with AI or Improve with AI, plus a daily usage count.
  • Usage milestones: the dates of your first finished song, the first time you saw the subscription screen and your first share. We use them only to understand how people get started.

Song for Someone asks for another person's first name and details about them. Only add what you and they would be comfortable with, and don't include sensitive information such as health details or ID numbers.

Credits, purchases and ad attribution

We store your credit balance and plan status, and a history of credits granted, spent, refunded or purchased, with the product and transaction ID. RevenueCat sends us purchase events (type, product, sandbox or production, and your account ID). Payments are handled entirely by Apple: we never see your card or payment details.

If you installed Serenadly after tapping an Apple Search Ads ad, the app sends Apple's attribution token (AdServices) to RevenueCat, which looks up the campaign, ad group and keyword that led to the install and links it to your purchases. We use this only to measure which of our ads work. It doesn't use the advertising identifier (IDFA), doesn't need App Tracking Transparency permission and isn't combined with data from other companies.

Notifications, logs and crash reports

  • If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token and app language to tell you when a song is ready.
  • Our servers keep short-lived logs (your account ID, the type of request, error messages and the IP address that called the server) to run the service, fix problems and prevent abuse.
  • If the app crashes, it sends a crash report to Firebase Crashlytics: the stack trace, device model, iOS and app version, memory and disk state and the time, tagged with your account ID so we can match it to support requests.

What we don't collect

We don't use analytics SDKs or ad networks, and we don't show ads. We don't use the advertising identifier (IDFA) or track you across apps or websites. We don't collect your location, contacts or microphone audio.

How the AI part works

  • Songs: our server turns your request into a short brief and sends it, with your photo for Photo to Song, to Google's Lyria music model through the Gemini API.
  • Writing help: AI Lyrics, Write with AI and Improve with AI send your topic or prompt and style choices to Google's Gemini text model.
  • Lyric timing: to light up the right line while a song plays, our server sends the finished song's audio and lyrics to Gemini, which returns when each line starts.

We use the Gemini API as a paid service. Under Google's terms, Google doesn't use these prompts, photos or results to improve its products, and logs them for a limited period only to detect abuse and meet legal requirements; they may be stored temporarily in any country where Google operates. We don't use your content to train AI models either. All generated audio carries Google's imperceptible SynthID watermark, which identifies it as AI-generated.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that run Serenadly:

  • Google (Firebase, Google Cloud): accounts, database, file storage, server functions, push notifications and crash reports.
  • Google (Gemini API: Lyria and Gemini): making songs, AI writing help and lyric timing.
  • RevenueCat: processing and verifying purchases and measuring Apple Search Ads results.
  • Apple: payments, Sign in with Apple and push delivery, under Apple's own privacy policy.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply. We don't sell or rent your personal data, and we don't share it for advertising.

Songs you share

  • Your songs are private to your account. When you create a share link, anyone who has the link can open the song's page and listen. The page shows the title, lyrics, cover and, for gift songs, the recipient's first name and occasion. Links are random and can't be guessed, pages are marked so search engines don't index them, and deleting the song or your account turns the link off.
  • You can also send the MP3 file, or a story video, which is made on your device and never uploaded to us. Anyone who receives a file can keep it and pass it on.
  • Songs in Explore are made by us. We never show your songs there.

Where your data is stored

Our database and files are hosted by Google Cloud in the United States, and RevenueCat processes data in the United States. Where data moves out of your country (for example from the EU, the UK or Türkiye), we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep data

  • Account, songs, photos, credit history and push tokens: until you delete your account.
  • Deleting a song in your Library removes the song, its lyrics, audio, cover and share link from our servers. A photo used for Photo to Song is deleted with the last version of the song that uses it.
  • Purchase records are kept after account deletion for accounting, tax and fraud prevention, tied to an account ID that no longer leads to you. RevenueCat and Apple keep their own purchase records.
  • Server logs are deleted automatically after a short period. Crash reports are kept for 90 days.

Deleting your account

Open Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile and credits, every song, lyric and audio file, uploaded photos and share links, your push tokens and your login. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the app's access to your Apple ID. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Unused credits are lost.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, Turkish KVKK or California law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict how it's used, and to withdraw consent. You can delete everything yourself in the app; for anything else, write to info@kickpop.app. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Legal bases (EEA, UK, Türkiye): performing our contract with you (account, songs, credits, purchases); legitimate interests (security, fixing errors, measuring our ads); consent (push notifications and photo uploads, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (purchase records).

Users in Türkiye: our notice under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law is the KVKK Aydınlatma Metni.

Age limit

Serenadly is only for people 18 and older, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has given us data, write to info@kickpop.app and we'll delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Your account can only read its own data, and credits and songs can only be changed by our servers. Uploads are limited to images under 10 MB. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its effective date, and tell you in the app if the changes are significant. Questions: info@kickpop.app.
