Who can use Serenadly

You must be at least 18 years old. Our AI providers' terms don't allow the service to be offered to people under 18.

Your account

When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account so your songs and credits can be saved. An anonymous account lives on your device: if you delete the app or change phones without signing in with Apple, you may lose your songs and credits. You're responsible for activity on your account, and you can delete it at any time in Profile → Account → Delete account.

What Serenadly does

Serenadly uses artificial intelligence to make songs from your descriptions, lyrics, choices and photos. Each request makes two versions, usually in about a minute. Because the output is generated by AI, results can vary and may not match what you asked for, lyrics may contain mistakes, names may be pronounced imperfectly, and songs may sometimes sound similar to other music.

Credits

Making songs uses credits. The cost is shown before you create; one request (two versions) currently costs 10 credits. We may change credit prices for future requests, never for a request you've already made.

• Starter credits: the first account on each iPhone gets free credits to try the app (currently 10), once per device. New accounts on the same iPhone, including after deleting an account or reinstalling, don't get them again. Signing back in to an existing account keeps its credits.
• Plan credits: Serenadly Pro includes an allowance (currently 100 credits a week on the weekly plan, 150 credits every 30 days on the yearly plan and 30 credits during a free trial). Plan credits are used first, refill at the start of each period and don't roll over.
• Extra credits from credit packs and starter credits never expire.
• If a version can't be made, its credits are returned to your extra credits automatically.
• Credits are a limited license to use the service. They have no cash value and can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash, and aren't refundable except as required by law or described here.

AI writing help (AI Lyrics, Write with AI, Improve with AI) is free, with a fair daily limit per user.

Subscriptions and purchases

• Serenadly Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, sold weekly or yearly. The plans, prices and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• A free trial converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. It includes a limited number of credits, and any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Manage or cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in the app under Profile → Manage subscription. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel it.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases of extra credits. If Apple refunds a pack, we remove the credits it added.
• All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Use Restore Purchases to restore an active subscription on a new device.

Your content

The prompts, lyrics, titles, names, details and photos you submit stay yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store and process them, and to send them to our AI providers, only to run the service for you. We don't use your content to train AI models or show it publicly unless you ask us to. You confirm that you have the rights to what you submit, and that you use other people's names, photos and details lawfully and respectfully.

Songs you make

Neither we nor our AI provider claim ownership of the songs, lyrics and artwork made for you, and to the extent we have any rights in them, we assign them to you. You may use them for any lawful purpose, including personal use, gifts, posting online and commercial use, subject to the points below and to the rules in the next section.

• AI-generated content may not be protected by copyright in many countries, including the United States; lyrics you wrote yourself may be. Similar output may be generated for other people, and we don't guarantee that output is unique or free of similarity to existing works.
• Generated audio contains an imperceptible SynthID watermark that identifies it as AI-generated. Don't remove it, don't present the output as created solely by a human in order to deceive, and don't present it as performed by a real artist.
• When you share a song as a link, anyone with the link can listen; the page shows the title, lyrics, cover and, for gift songs, the recipient's first name and occasion. Links can't be guessed, aren't indexed by search engines and turn off when you delete the song or your account. Story videos are made on your device.
• You can upload your songs to platforms such as Spotify (through a distributor) or YouTube. Follow their rules for AI-generated content, including any disclosure requirements, and don't upload in bulk or near-duplicates. Uploads may match other content in content-identification systems; we can't resolve those disputes for you.

Things you must not do

Don't use Serenadly to create, upload or share content that:

• infringes copyrights or other rights, including copyrighted lyrics you don't have permission to use;
• imitates or claims to be a real artist or person, or misleads people into thinking a real person performed it;
• is sexually explicit, or sexual content involving minors;
• is hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory or discriminatory, or targets a real person to harm them;
• promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism or illegal activity, or shares someone's private information.

Don't break the law, try to get around credit limits, safety filters or security, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing AI model. Requests that break these rules may be blocked by automated filters; credits for blocked versions are returned. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

Ending your use

You can stop using Serenadly at any time and delete your account in the app. Deletion is permanent and doesn't cancel an App Store subscription. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or where the law requires it.

Changes to the app and these terms

We may add, change or remove features. If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its effective date and tell you in the app if the changes are significant. Continuing to use Serenadly after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

Serenadly and its output are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Kickpop Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it or USD 50. You're responsible for how you use the songs you make. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
